Moultrie needed to evolve from a family of cameras into a true platform—with clear product tiers, shared identity, and rugged, field-ready usability. The cameras had to withstand heat, rain, impact, animal interference, and user error—all while being simple enough for a 6-year-old or a 69-year-old.
Led ethnographic + participatory research reviews Created modular design architecture for A-, M-, and LTE-Series Directed ID development for keystone geometry, CMF, UI ergonomics Delivered full Camera ID Guidelines, hero concepts, and tiered visual branding Designed rugged sealing systems, mounting improvements, and tactile user flows
A Visual + Functional System That Scales
The final design language unified Moultrie’s lineup across price points, finishes (Realtree™, Smokescreen), and use cases. The Camera ID Guidelines became a cornerstone for future development, and the LTE variant established a new category benchmark in perceived quality, UI clarity, and integrated ruggedness.
Next projects.
